As a practicing clinician, I have very much appreciated the UIC interactive continuing education programs hosted by pharmacists. Each topic has been quite timely and useful in my clinical practice with current and evidence-based recommendations. The pharmacists have clear expertise on the topic, often providing me with supplemental information via email following the program. The CE sessions are easy to schedule and participating in the distance format is quite convenient. I highly recommend these sessions!

As a practicing general internist, I make it a high priority to keep up on topics that are relevant to my practice. Hypertension is one of the most common conditions that I treat, so I am always interested in learning more about it.
The Hypertension brochure created by the Academic Detailing team is nothing short of outstanding!
It is extremely informative and very well organized. The graphs and tables are easy to read and packed with valuable information. It reviews a variety of practical topics including patient specific considerations in medication selection, how to approach resistant HTN, as well as “Tip and Tricks” to optimize BP control. There is also an instructive graphic on treating special populations.
This brochure truly has it all, and could benefit any health care provider, at any level of training or experience, who cares for patients with hypertension.
