As a practicing clinician, I have very much appreciated the UIC interactive continuing education programs hosted by pharmacists. Each topic has been quite timely and useful in my clinical practice with current and evidence-based recommendations. The pharmacists have clear expertise on the topic, often providing me with supplemental information via email following the program. The CE sessions are easy to schedule and participating in the distance format is quite convenient. I highly recommend these sessions!

I want to express my appreciation to you and the University of Illinois Chicago for offering such excellent academic detailing visits. Your topics are intriguing, your brochures are excellent references/resources for my practice, AND you make learning fun and exciting. I also like the length of a 30 minutes session. Your diabetes education has been a favorite! Your enthusiasm for your topics is commendable. Thanks to you and the team at University of Illinois!

I highly recommend the academic detailing program offered by the College of Pharmacy, University of Illinois Chicago. The sessions on the CDC Opioid Guidelines were exceptional in terms of content and delivery. My [detailer] demonstrated extensive expertise and knowledge in pharmacy practice. Her professionalism and attention to detail ensured a structured and comprehensive learning experience. The program’s personalized approach, tailored to individual learning objectives, made the sessions highly valuable for applying the guidelines effectively. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program and confidently endorse it to fellow pharmacists seeking top-notch academic detailing.

“Among the benefits of academic detailing is the opportunity for expert education on critical topics in an informal but controlled setting with more one-on-one engagement. Academic detailing has given me education and resources that are practical for a primary care physician such as myself. The materials are easy to navigate, read, and are useful to have in the office. The resources for managing opioid prescribing and naloxone use were especially helpful.”
